About Me

In tight pieces and long form, I’ve created a litany of stories about subjects both mundane and extraordinary. You should see what I can do for you.

Hi there.

I am an award-winning writer and editor for national magazines and prominent and not-so-prominent websites. I started my career at Maximum PC magazine in San Francisco, covering emerging technology. Before long I stepped into the managing editor role at Runner’s World, where I helped bring the brand to the brink of a National Magazine Award for General Excellence.

From there, a small publisher recruited me to resurrect LODGING, which I revived as an award-winning magazine and digital content platform. In 2014, I co-founded a firm specializing in medical and healthcare content. We introduced the world to Real Woman, a women’s lifestyle title that won the Content Council’s award for best new magazine. I also created an innovative web platform for Real Woman, that significantly enhanced Capital Health‘s brand presence.

C is for capable.

In 2018, as editorial director at the Rutgers University Foundation, I was tasked with combining a simplified donor journey with cause-based storytelling. The result was a 240% boost in web traffic, $10 million raised for student financial aid, and a $1.1 million jump in the university’s web-based fundraising, all in a single year.

Currently, as a content director at Princeton University, I develop compelling, multi-channel stories that spotlight the innovative work of Princeton faculty with the goal of unlocking the University’s educational experiences for more people. And I’m just getting started.
